Did you know? Terrace is home to Canada’s first non-profit community service ski co-operative - My Mountain Co-op which operates the best little ski hill in the west, Shames Mountain. Boasting 1,600 vertical feet, Shames Mountain is located just 35 km west of Terrace. With a chair lift and T-bar that gives you access to more than 30 runs ranging from easy greens to incredible double black diamonds – Shames has it all. If you are travelling with kids, be sure to check out the new tube run accessed by its convenient conveyor lift.
