Head west from Terrace to Prince Rupert, and you will experience 176 km of touring along the breathtaking Skeena River, with plenty of waterfalls, soaring eagles, and glimpses of black bear (perhaps even the elusive Kermodei Bear!). In March, the oolichan run enters the Skeena River and spectators gather in droves to watch these oily, shiny fish make their run down the river. It is truly a spectacular sight to watch sea lions, eagles and other wildlife chase after the fish.
