Arts & Culture
Terrace is home to a vibrant art and music community that enriches both its citizens as well as visitors to the city. Regular exhibitions by talented local artists can be viewed and purchased at the Terrace Art Gallery, the Red Raven Gallery, and local coffee shops and bistros. Take a tour of the stunning salmon murals that grace the building walls in downtown Terrace, and check out the Freda Diesling School of Indigenous Art at Coast Mountain College and be inspired by the next generation of indigenous artists.
Talented and touring bands and musicians can be experienced at Terrace’s many local theatres, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Traditional First Nations’ dancers, musicians and artists often perform at community events.
Experience Terrace’s arts and culture in all its forms. You might be surprised by how much is here.
Terrace offers a host of family-friendly activities to keep little minds active all day long. Swim and play in the sand in one of our many local beaches, explore Heritage Park and get a glimpse of what life was like in Terrace in the early years, take a walk on the trails at Ferry Island or on the Grand Trunk Pathway. So many possibilities!
