4th Annual Miles for Markus Fundraiser Run
On June 19, local runner Noah Allison will attempt to run 145 kilometres continuously from Prince Rupert to Terrace as part of the 4th Annual Miles for Markus fundraiser in support of the BC Cancer Foundation’s Patient Relief Fund.
Following Highway 16 through Northwest BC, the run will be supported by community runners, volunteers, sponsors, friends, and family along the route. Since its inception in 2023, Miles for Markus has raised more than $20,000 for cancer-related causes.
The BC Cancer Foundation’s Patient Relief Fund helps individuals and families overcome financial barriers to cancer care by assisting with expenses such as transportation, accommodations, groceries, and medical supplies.
Supporters are encouraged to follow along, cheer Noah on, and help raise awareness for this important cause.
