Canada Pension Plan

Canada Penion plan protects contributors and their families from loss of income due to retirement, disability, or death. The retirement benefit can be received as early as age 60. Disability benefits are paid to contributors who are under 65 years of age, who have paid sufficient contributions to the CPP and who are disabled as defined under CPP act.

Disability Alliance BC

Formerly known as BC coalition of people with disabilities; staff will inform you of your rights, provide information about available services and support, and assist people 18-65 years old with disabilities in accessing handicapped benefits from the government of  bc and Canada. The staff will help with if you are having trouble getting subsidy for your disability.

Veterans and their families can get informatiion about penions and benefits. Also provides veterans who have low income with medical and financial assistance.
