Tell us about your most memorable moment / day / multi-day of outdoor adventure in the Terrace region.

Some friends and I hiked Shames mountain in the summer and tented overnight.  It was a slog and awfuly buggy but what beautiful scenery!

What has living in Terrace done for you and/or what are you willing to do for Terrace?

I am willing to give my time and volunteer to make Terrace a better place to live for all of us.  It's such a beautiful place and it's the least I can do.

Has living in the Terrace area changed your life in any way?

The low cost of living, lack of a commute, clean living, farmer's market - give me a better quality of life than if I lived anywhere else.  I grew up here and my family still lives in Terrace.  I like that we have all made the choice to stay here.

What are your main reasons for choosing to live in the Terrace area?

It was forced upon me when I was 13 and I couldn't wait to leave after I graduated high school.  I didn't feel Terrace had anything to offer me as I was a bookish, artsy student and I missed the lack of arts and culture BUT after living in various other cities, I missed Terrace and I made the choice to come back.  What has kept me here is that Terrace keeps becoming more and more diverse.  What used to be a 'logging town' is now a thriving community with so many things to be involved in.  I love it!
