Every day is memorable here in Terrace, we have the most amazing outdoor adventures, breathtaking scenery, greatest fishing spots, and the best powder ever. To pick one day is impossible as everyday is a moment, and every season is a story just waiting to happen.
How do you get prepared for your activity / sport?
We just get out there and enjoy it. Go to the local shops for new information, we have all the help we need to get us prepared for whatever adventure we want that day.
What are the elements that make a great summer and/or winter adventure for you?
Having a great time with family and friends.
Tell us something that no one else knows about you as it relates to outdoor activities, sports, etc.
I have met face to face with many wildlife, including a lynx about 5 feet away as we played in the snow making snow angels.
What challenges have you overcome with your activity / sports?
Finding all of the trails in times past were not always easy but now we are getting some excellent mapping out there, so it will be even easier to go out and enjoy a day excursion with our family.
What advice would you give someone who has never visited Terrace about our winter activities / summer activities.
Dress in the right clothing and enjoy it - don't forget your camera!
What has living in Terrace done for you and/or what are you willing to do for Terrace?
It is a beautiful place, I grew up here and now I am going to raise my kids here. It is a place that helps reconnect you with how the earth should be.
What are your main reasons for choosing to live in the Terrace area?
I have lived in Terrace most of my life and it is Home. It is a place that instantly engages you and makes you want to get outside and enjoy it. Terrace gives a sense of peace, and reminds us of our place and where we belong.
What makes Terrace a unique spot of NW BC?
Terrace has every sport activity you could possibly imagine.
