On a hot summer day, those craving a dip can cool off in a variety of refreshing rivers, creeks or lakes within minutes from downtown. The expansive Lakelse Lake has a few popular picnic areas and beaches south of town while smaller lakes, such as Findley Lake just north of town offers a more intimate environment.  If your style is a bit more rustic and private, take the short trek to Hai Lake.  For indoor fun visit the Terrace Aquatic Centre for daily public swims.
