Artists & Galleries

The Terrace Art Gallery is dedicated to community enrichment through the arts.  It regularly exhibits contemporary and traditional works that cover an array of mediums including paintings, sculptures and photographs.  Located in George Little Park in the lower level of the library building, call 250.638.8884 to find out what’s showing.

To witness the creation of First Nations art first hand visit the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art at the Northwest Community College or check out one of the local carving studios in town.  From wood carving to basket weaving to painting to gold and silversmithing, uncover the knowledge, wisdom and experience of our many First Nations artists.

In August, residents and visitors can enjoy a cornucopia of activities and events or take a peek inside the collective imaginations of our artists for the Kermodei Cultural Crawl.
